remains is the central (art) project falling from a desire, a need or perhaps just a sudden interest in
​re-uninventing myself (that's a whole other story). Simply, I found three sculpture like thingies I had started to build a way back in the early 1980's lingering in the back of my mind...
After showing them to a pal, a notion took hold... "let's (re)build these".

...building these damned things has boiled down to two key activities, sketching, assembling. Sketching 'em has taken on a bit of a life of it's own as I not only seem interested in defining how they'd be built, how they'd look, I also seem hellbent on
​figuring out if they might mean anything (oh dear). The actual assemblage, well, this activity is being done
virtually (for now)... using a 3D drawing program I'm only beginning to learn...

...at this point in time (April, 2016) the more defined parts of this project are the
SKETCHES (original & current) and the 3D ASSEMBLAGES. There are a couple of other things going on here,
​far less defined for now... This being a (so-called) site specific sculpture, there's come the opportunity to run MISSIONS exploring the site. ALSO... just as this (harebrained) project fell from the desire to re-uninvent myself,it only makes sense that things may FALLOUT of this... (for now, very little has)

...in the end...

it really is just... something to do.
